DALILA DALLÉAS BOUZAR Self-portrait, 2021 Oil on canvas 50 x 40 cm WORKSHOP #15 DALILA DALLÉAS BOUZAR Dalila Dalléas Bouzar was born in Oran in 1974. She was first trained in biology. After graduating from the Beaux-Arts in Paris, she created painting workshops in Oran for a year. She quickly collaborated with gallery owners in Berlin, Marseille, Abidjan and Paris, and regularly participated in group exhibitions in institutions. Since the beginning of her artistic career she has developed painting and performance art, always based on drawing. Dalléas Bouzar's figurative style, at the crossroads of realism and dreamlike, refuses the authority of a too clean drawing in favour of an unlimited experimentation of colours and light.
