Straight, single-edged, double-sided, flat-backed blade marked "Mre d'Armes de Châtt Mars 1885, Cavrie légère, Mle 1882". Sheet steel scabbard with a strap. Guard and scabbard stamped 39052. Blade length : 87 cm - total length : 105 cm. Some wear, in particular to the gilding of the guard, small shocks; some oxidations with the scabbard.
