FRANCOIS LINKE (1855-1946) Moulded mahogany chamber chair with fan-shaped openwork backrest, resting on slightly arched legs, richly decorated with gilded bronze, such as: moulded ingot mouldings, quarter round, friezes of pearls, rosettes, trophy of the Arms of Love, bow of leafy ribbon, branches of flowers, rockery clog, and chiseled scraps of cut leaves adorning the front legs. Seat upholstered in beige fabric woven with polychrome flowers. Stamped LINKE under the side rails. Louis XV style, late 19th or early 20th century. H.: 91 cm - Width: 42.5 cm. - Depth: 40 cm. Some stains, scratches, small cracks and bumps, especially on the seat. Gilding wear on the applied motifs, especially on the back and front crossbar.
