Small corner on a solid mahogany plinth, moulded and veneered, with cut sides with fluted and roughened pilasters, and triglyphs, opening with a leaf decorated with a flat beaded necklace of gilded bronze beads. The belt is decorated with a Greek frieze, interrupted in the centre, and the lower crossbeam with a frieze of interlacing. Thick, moulded, white-grey veined marble top. Early Louis XVI period. A few cracks, bottom bottom and back angle replaced, restorations; wear and oxidation in the gilding; chips and cracks in the marble.
