A flat-bottomed circular covered vegetable dish made of silver (950), with a moulded neck and two Greek-style grips decorated with quatrefoils. The lid is made of doucine, with a fretel turned on a laurel leaf rosette. C.A.B. numerals on the lid and the belly. Goldsmith's mark: J.F.C. perhaps for Jean-François CARRON, received Master in 1775 (?). PARIS, 1798-1809. Total net weight: 1.104 g. - Height: 15.5 cm. - Diameter : 21 cm. Small oxidation, shocks and scratches. Fretel's screw thread to be revised.
