Paul Marque was promoted to Premier Danseur at the end of the annual promotion competition of the Corps de Ballet of the Paris National Opera. In 1997 he was promoted to Dax, and in 2004 he entered the Paris National Opera Ballet School. In 2014 he was hired by the Corps de Ballet de l'Opéra national de Paris and became Coryphée in 2015. In 2016, he receives the Gold Medal at the Varna International Dance Competition, and is promoted subject in 2017.
