The top is centered on the oval cartridge of the manufacturer. With a graduated ruler and accessories (various supports for lenses, mirrors, prisms, screens...), pivoting or articulated, in brass or copper, some blackened, and some coloured or colourless mica or glass panes, some frosted, and their supports in cork.
