Attribuée à Andréa SCACCIATI (Florence 1644-1710) Garland of flowers, peonies, marigolds, snowball, white roses, daffodils, double anemones, nasturtiums, tulips and bindweed, with the Virgin and Child and little Saint John. The central motif is based on a composition by Pierre Mignard (1612-1695) engraved by François de Poilly (Cf. the engraved work of François and Nicolas de Poilly d'Abbeville, Parisian engravers in the 17th century; n° 311, p.178- Paris 1994).
