Désirée de Montebello Les pointus, 2020 Watercolour and ink on paper 46 x 61 cm Born in 1976, Désirée de Montebello graduated from Central Saint Martins College in London (BA design for performance). After training at the Beaux Arts in Rome and at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, she turned to drawing and produced notebooks and landscapes. Favouring varied exchanges with writers, directors, for whom she creates drawing notebooks, she conceives a project with poets and visual artists exhibited at the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris. Her work is part of the search for the instantaneity of the line, the chromatic vibrations, the emotion delivered on paper. His work has been exhibited in various institutions such as the Trouville s/mer Museum. An exhibition in Konstanz and at the Théâtre de Fontainebleau around dance is planned in 2021.
