GAUTIER AMAND (1825-1894) Meeting of 3 autograph letters signed to Camille PISSARRO [S.l.n.d.], set of 3 pages in-8 in ink on paper. (Small stains, traces of folding). Meeting of 3 autograph letters signed to Camille Pissarro in which Armand Gautier evokes various subjects such as the sale of paintings: "I spoke several times to an amateur of your painting which is at Madame votre Mère [...]....]", or the rental of Pissarro's studio, which Gautier has just left but of which he warns: "[...] it remains for me to remind you that Gachet has all his objects in the little kitchen [...] Mr Cézanne must have told him as well [...]". Amand GAUTIER, a painter close to the precursors of Impressionism, was very close to Gustave Courbet with whom he frequented the Andler brewery, also frequented at the time by Camille Pissarro. It was also he who introduced Dr. Gachet to the artistic circles of the time. Enclosed is an autograph letter signed by an unknown painter (G. Sauvé?) addressed to Camille Pissarro, Moret, November 27, 1902, 1 pages in-12 in ink on paper.
