Folded fan. Double-sided sheet of gouache paper, decorated on the front with a baptism in the Jordan River, under a garland of foliage and fruit, and on the back with Elijah fed by crows. Ivory mount (Elephantidae spp; > 20%) (pre-Convention) openwork, engraved, and polychrome and gilded highlights, decorated with figures in rocaille cartouches. Master strands decorated with a series of characters and flowers. Rims decorated with facetted white stones of fantasy. Second half of the 18th century. H. : 28,4 cm - Gross weight : 58 g.
