COCTEAU Jean Paraprosodies preceded by 7 Dialogues (Monaco, Éditions du Rocher, 1958); in-8 in height, paperback, filled cover illustrated with a decorative motif by Jean Cocteau printed in red. Original edition, on publishing paper, with an autograph correction on page 17. Signed autograph to Jean MARAIS, with a blue ballpoint pen on the false title: "to my Jeannot with all my sadness and tenderness Jean 1958". [Jean Cocteau refers to a painful event in the actor's life, just as he was starting performances of William Gibson's play Deux on the swing, directed by Luchino Visconti at the Théâtre des Ambassadeurs: his brother had indeed fallen ill, and had only a few months to live.]
